About Us

I started keeping bees seven years ago as a diversion from the rigors of law school. I have learned a lot about beekeeping but recognize that I still have a long way to go before I can be considered an expert, though I am encouraged by the unexpected passion I have found in keeping bees. Though very much a hobby, Aberdeen Apiary is flirting with becoming a side business. Perhaps it will someday become something more, perhaps it will become nothing. In any case, the experience has been immensely fulfilling and I take a great deal of joy sharing it with others.
